Should I go air force reserves or army active duty?1Michaelia2012-10-25 09:41:02
Ok , I passed the ASVAB ( score above 50) . My recruiter told me that my debt ratio is high and it woul have to submit a waiver to get into the air force. I have to pay a credit card that is in collection ( $ 3,000 ) or pay 25 % of it and get my credit. Also I have a car payment of $ 499.81 and my half of the rent is $ 330. I usually take home between $ 650 - $ 777 every month for 1 and 15 . My recruiter told me that my credit problems for the care of the creation of a payment plan and you have proof that you are caring and work on getting my debt by May or June , and then put in a waiver or may not I will need a guess . I also told him I'm going out of my apartment so I should reduce my debt ratio. I talked to an Army recruiter and told me that my problem credit ( s ) would not be a problem and wants me to sign on Tuesday for the trial of the deputies . My question is do you feel MedlinePlus As would be better for me to wait and take care of the issues of credit and debt ratios and request the Air Force ? Or should I say hit and go active duty army now and get that money ? I know the quality of the air force of life is claimed to be generally better than any other branch , but the army will take me on as e -4 ( Air Force E -3) and pay up to $ 65, 000 for the student loan ( $ 10,000 Air Force max ) .... What do you think would be the best way to go ? ( ps- if you 're wondering why I'm running to join a branch ... is because my work can be removed on or before June )

Help becoming a nurse as a single mom?1the all knwooin2012-08-23 05:41:03
I have 28 years I have two children in school , who share custody 50/50 . I own a home with a mortgage in reverse and run a daycare business that is slowly going under , because people keep losing jobs there and not need daycare ! MedlinePlus I want to be a nurse and I have no idea where to start . I can not afford to stop working and go to school but they never apply the amount of student loans that are needed to pay my monthly mortgage 1500, 300 car payment , etc. .. MedlinePlus Over the past two years I have been working my ass with my business and other work at night my ex has the kids to keep up with the mortgage and I can not pay bills so I can keep my house long enough to sell at least what I owe . I also go to school online , but do not have time to get good grades ! MedlinePlus I'm pretty much working myself to death and make me crazy . MedlinePlus I desperately want to be a nurse has always been my dream , but so far I have done miserably in creating my life to make this dream a possibility. What should I set to go to nursing school ? the councilman said it was a horrible idea to work while in the program . I have looked for months for grants and untrustworthy nothing I can find ! What should I do ? I really have no idea where to start .
Student Nurse job question?0luthfi2012-09-07 20:40:03
I'm trying to get into an RN program two years and I'm trying to figure out what time you start doing rotations where you actually get paid . I am a single parent and farewells need to know how long I have to live in student loans . The course I am looking at is 5 semesters . Am I eligible to receive a Pell Grant to cover tuition and books . I will be getting student loans to cover living expenses of life . Luckily , I saw a layoff coming and paid all my debts except my car , a personal loan and a credit card . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus From what I have said and what I read of acceptance is based on a point system . You get points for the reading portion of the COMPASS test , I scored a 99 on 98 off . But I have no previous biology course to reinforce my point . So it will become extremely difficult for someone with no previous college credits . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Any information would be greatly appreciated . I'm not above getting into the admissions office , on my hands and knees , with photos of my children asking them to take me . :)
I want to become a nurse, but I would prefer to study in the USA, is this possible?0swischeese2012-11-03 05:21:29
ok, I have some questions relating to study, finances and visa's...please help!! I want to permanently move to the USA (it's a lifelong dream!) and I don't know which is the best way about it. I am currently studying an access to nursing course to gain entry to university in the UK. I would like to study in the USA if possible. I have done some research but I have got a little confused, the issues I have are as follows: - if I apply for a student visa to the USA I would have to show I want to come back to the UK at the end of the degree, which I don't. If I wanted to stay on at the end of the degree course could I apply to change the visa I potentially would have from this to a H1B or even something else? - The student visa wouldn't allow me to work even part-time, I have some savings but not enough to live over four years - is there a way around this at all legally? - Most international student loan companies expect a co sign/guarantor from a US resident, can US companies do this? If not are there companies that don't require a co-sign/guarantor? - The way I see it, if I intend to immigrate to the US permanently I would be better off studying there as I would have to sit further examinations when I arrived if I qualify in Britain - does anyone know how the authorities see this sort of scenario? Is it worth speaking to the US embassy directly about these intentions as I wouldn't want to jeapordise my chances applying for a visa and being rejected on the basis that I would be percieved as a risk to breaking its terms? (though i never would!!!!) I believe the relative costs of university in wither country would be similar if I were able to access funding from the ability to work and of course/scholarships or loans but I would really be happier if I could move earlier rather than in say five years time. I am trying to get as much information as possible before making a firm decision and actually submitting applications so I would really appreciate and information anyone can provide.

Army active duty college loan repayment program question?0Veridiana2012-09-19 08:47:03
One incentive Army recruits to join a loan repayment program of the university , in which up to $ 65,000 may be paid to those who have gone to college and are joining now . Are there certain criteria must be met , such as a certain type of work , while in the Army , among other things ?
Does the Army offer student loan repayment for Physical Therapists going Active Duty?0keauanna2012-10-05 23:33:41
I am a student of 3rd year DPT together to graduate in December . I keep hearing that none of the branches of the armed forces are offering all loan repayment programs . I 'm leaning heavily towards my army , but only if I can get some loan repayment (I have 100K of debt) . Does anyone know for sure anyway? thanks
