Hi, I am a 28 year old guy who is temporarily having to live with my sister and is attending the local community college until I get enough money in student loans saved up to transfer to a four year university. The reason that I am getting such a late start in my schooling is because I was basically forced into the military right after high school due to a lack of support from my parents. Anyway, I've lived here in Colorado Springs for a couple of years now and absolutely DO NOT fit in here and there are MANY reasons for this. For one, I have noticed that alot of Coloradoans are prejudiced against me because I am originally from Tennessee and they don't like people from the South here in Colorado. Not only that, but a VERY LARGE majority of the people who live here are married, have their own family, and live off of powers boulevard here in Colorado Springs. So, do you all think that I would probably fit in better down in Austin, Texas? I plan on applying to UT for the spring semester of 2011. So, as a single guy, do you think that I would fit in better in Austin?
