So .... I am a sophomore at a private school that I love dearly, but sometimes I get nervous about my student loans. I am a good student, however, who have good grades and I'm in school to play. I have only one problem .... I'm so confused about what to major in! I like a lot of different topics and feel I'd rather study a little of a lot of things instead of getting really deep into one. Realizing this, I'm glad I chose a liberal arts institution! Much as I hate to say it, do not really know what I want to be when you "grow". Looks like I'm the only one that sometimes, although I know that's not true. I have great concern because sometimes it seems that my life is ruined because I know exactly what I'm doing. I know this is a silly way to feel because not many people know exactly what they want when your 19! MedlinePlus But, anyway, being so indecisive about what I want to do (but sick of being my most indecisive!) At this point I'm torn between communication studies with a minor management business, perhaps ordinary business an emphasis on health care and psychology with a minor in business. I think both business communication and give me a lot of good options for a good job ... I suppose I could always go back to school if a true calling ever hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm not sure I really, really enjoy studying business ... and would love to find something I love more in ... even in English or something .... and find the later work. But it would be able to stand-and considering my student loan debt and the fact that I do not feel strongly about anything, sometimes I feel that the business would be the best route to follow. My school also has a great business school undergraduate placement rate with a large work. But, I heard that you really need a masters or higher to do something decent healthcare administration MedlinePlus. On the other hand, I like psychology (although perhaps not as much as some liberal arts major love their discipline) I have heard over and over again that there is a lot of job options for a bachelor's degree in psychology (which I realize and would be concerned .... but I think the retail business could help), but I think there are a variety of good options for graduate school. You do something with business school psychology, (I'm really interested), education can be taught at the college level, or a lot of other things. A lot of different things to do in the future. Maybe when I'm older, I'll have a clearer idea of what you want and you must choose the point that I put in a specific career? I am also very interested in human resources / training / recruitment types of jobs, and I think the 3 biggest help me with that. Sorry for the long question .... but would appreciate some input and objective assurance that I'm not the only person who had trouble choosing a path greater / stroke. I wish I could take the common advice and only important in what I like and I love ... but the problem is that I feel that way about anything except dance. I am under age dance, but do not want to major in dance because .... so you can think of a lot of reasons. In addition, there are schools in my state (TN) have a major dance I do not think, and I would lose a substantial amount of the aid if I went out of state. Also do not think you will enjoy it if it were a race, but I'm really enjoying high school.
