I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 104,000 miles. I still owe about $ 6,500 on it . A couple of months ago I considered trading it because the gas mileage sucks and I do not need that big of a car . But then reconsidered and decided to just go up to pay for it and then change it in. About 2 weeks ago I found out I need a new gasket and some minor repairs . The car still works, but I have not been driving because I will not screw it up more . My dad is going to fix it for me , all you need to cover the cost of parts.Unfortunatly I have no money to fix a couple of weeks. Now I wonder if I should see what a dealer will give me for it . I know it sounds stupid , but right now I do not care if I go to the back of my loan . Should I wait to get it fixed before you trade it in ? Or should I do what I gave for it as is ? Do you think it will give me much more if I can fix what's wrong? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Thank you !

Hang in there! Fix your Jeep. You will regret it later on if you get into an upside down loan. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Don't do it.
