Hi all I wonder if those with more experience give me your opinion . Only recently graduated and I have a great job after graduation . I have good credit for my age and four years experience in my field ( full time during breaks , school party ) . My experience is in the same industry as my degree and current experience . I have a little over 10K in the bank and make 40K a year . I have no real world experience of how much things really cost and wondered what could really expect to pay for a home . In case you are wondering , my car is paid for and I have 16.5K in student loans . Also I have less than $ 500 on a credit card . I just do not want to dwell more and get into trouble . I'd like to avoid renting if possible (can not stand to throw money ) . I found a house for $ 115k in a nice area with low taxes and I wondered if I was out of place to think I could afford this. I more than likely have a roommate because I do not live for myself , but I will not charge an arm and a leg . I welcome your comments and thank you for your time!
