I have an FHA loan , but http://www.hud.gov/buying/loans.cfm says I can do yet. Now, it's bank owned .. But my real estate agent usually tells me that the FHA will tell you that we know at the top keeper ( although that's not what im reading here ) also said there is no guarantee that they will get and could be a waste of 6 months , which I also do not understand .. the FHA to buy me a house that has a couple of windows to be replaced , and as long as the basement walls are safe, and the problem can be solved (which would be doing as soon as possible ) will most likely be agree on that ? I'm so confused by what you say, and what others say . I do not want to waste my time , but I really love this place .. and a couple of windows and "maybe" a wet basement can be arranged .. I would like to find a way how to make it work if the problem can be fixed the basement.

Not being rude, just honest ... You are looking at a house that is old enough to need new windows, however, still has water problems in the basement? ? ? I have serious doubts that the water problem can be fixed ... not all are.

The wet basement makes me say no. I lived in a house with moisture problems. I was tempted means to illuminate the place on fire. Luckily it was a holiday so just had to deal with it for a year. I would not because it's just a pain in the ass! There are plenty of great deals out there just keep looking and find something you like . Aesthetic problems with the home are easy to fix and not a big deal . A wet basement can cause many problems not worth it.

The windows did not bother me , but the basement . Now , many wet basement can be fixed, but others are very expensive to repair , so you have to be careful. Can you take a home inspector to get an objective opinion ? How much water is being talked about - you can see a water line around the inside , as if what has been going on for years and is only the leak , which often can be solved with the reclassification of the yard and maybe a bomb sump ? Is the price low enough to cover maybe $ 5,000 to $ 20,000 worth of work? Get some estimates . Also have someone look at the foundation - if the house is of solid construction that can fix almost anything. Do you have any friends contractor who will go through it with you ? Also , look closely at the electrical and plumbing systems . Are you in an area that will keep its value ? Ask neighbors how they like there - you can get some scoop either at home or in the whole area MedlinePlus .
