Hi folks:
MedlinePlus Why people are so busy with issues of race, national origin, ethnicity, color, and sometimes both gender? I mean, in many places, like where I live, you almost can not do anything without having to mention their race and / or sex. You have to indicate what race is when applying for a job. You have to indicate what race is when applying for a home loan or car. Car insurance companies want to know what your career is when applying for coverage. (Note that the lending banks and insurance companies charge different rates depending on what part of their race. Is not that discrimination?) MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I can give you some examples. When I told my family that I had joined a book club, my sister asked me if my club mates were White or Black. After a woman at work asked me if I had a girlfriend / wife and then tried to engage, (Note that I do not date coworkers. Causes many problems.) Then she asked me if my online "girlfriend" Since I have is Black or White. Other people have done similar questions about whether she was dark skinned or light skin. After my sister gave birth to her son, some of the doctors and nurses said it looked like an Asian ethnic group and asked what belonged to her husband. Even one of his old friends commented publicly about it being a little darker than her son when he was born right. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I just want to know why we are so racially / color conscious. Does it really matter how much of a person's background? Do you think you are one of the "chosen people of God" and that other groups of people must be condemned and hell and therefore should be kept to partner with your class? I am asking any of you - White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, Arab, Indian, etc. What do you think? I admit that I am not perfect, but man, many people actually live by racial and gender identification and stereotypes much more than me. For one, if someone can do a real good job, then that's all that matters. I believe that inside, we as human beings belong to the same species, and that a large percentage believe that we all come from Adam and Eve, the first two parents. Do you agree or disagree with this? Do you think the U.S. should continue its long history of division or are quiet, with people of different backgrounds, as long as your character has merit? Tell me your opinion. Thank you. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Web_Jock

All men are created equal , but have different characteristics reaces and genetics . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Statistics is the reason why most companies and employers have to ask for age , race and gender. Insurance companies charge based on statistics . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Employers hire based on statistics in line with MedlinePlus Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Schools , universities and other public funded and sign contracts with the guidelines and requirements based on age , sex , race , etc ... MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Mostly it's to make things more fair , not less. I do not like , but those statiticians , economists and social scientists love .

You must live in the South . Companies that ask you , so is everywhere . I do not think race should be asked at all about any application . All I need to know if you qualify and what your background is . I do not think your credit stop you from getting a job either.
