No, you can not go to jail , however , that the trial is valid for 10 years. They can take their sweet time and wait until you have the money . Just because you can not afford if it were now , does not mean you will not be able in 10 years . It will also ruin your credit and be on your credit report for 10 years ... not the usual 7.
