This crap is using the name of my wife and her phone number as a reference in most loan companies , car dealers and rental own places . He was married to both and abuse of my wife's best friend , who died in a house fire a decade ago . In other words , I can not stand . Now go about leaving your name and number of the entire city . Before him reflect on the many aspects of pain , I wonder if I should wait for the possibility of taking legal action .

The best you can do is tell people that called for a reference exactly what he thinks of him . That hurts worse than any legal problem . MedlinePlus By the way , no, you can sue for this.

Try asking what is not. If he refuses to stop , put a restraining order against him . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Or hitting it rich . It's your choice . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus For those who have not realized this , however , the person probably already know that it will not get a good reference and is using the name on purpose to annoy . Reread the question and auxiliary plug your IQ .

anyone can use any other person for a reference unless expressly notified by a court to cease and desist . If you do not like it why not give your references required . He has left himself open to all sorts of " truths " .

The dirt -bag has no money , so it is judgment proof . I advise you to do anything for this sad excuse for a human being back to their lives .

It is fraud and it is illegal. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus The invasion of privacy maybe. But how far will you go with that? It references and she did not know him , but he is giving the numbers she gave . Do you see the light ? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus As one person . Trash him, then he will stop using it as an upstanding citizen . I would not use someone who told a bank , landlord or any other place that I was a "Dirt Bag" ! MedlinePlus MedlinePlus You have no legal action . You just need the right reason and that reason is the use of logic against him. That hurt him more . And if I were you , I would not even say that I am the one who is destroying . You know why. ? MedlinePlus He will continue to use it as a reference for years and give you pain be as they say " Diamonds last forever" You are given a punch in the nose (for once ) ... to me that's the most fun , lol

NO, it's not illegal, but it's fool from him since you have nothing good to say about him.

A reference is only a person that will contacted to verify that the person has a "good reputation"; a reference has no legal obligation towards the loans or car dealers.

All you has to do is to tell that person that if you are called by those places that you are going to advice not to give him any loans since he can't be trusted.
