I bought it on April 1 . The creditor filed on April 3 . I left the truck in front of my house while I was out of town for a month to deter thieves . Although I was not the sheriff seized my truck I have the title, tag , and registration in my name . They are not sure whose truck was before she took over . I have a sales contract which is also registered in the register of my . I have to go to court to contest the forfeiture now Thursday. What are my chances of getting it back ? My ex was the Ace Hardware 2000 but 2000 was owed for work done there. They hit him in the office secretaries and filed before he should be in jail . Please help ! I thought about going to a place effective title in court , but a deputy said that would be illegal ! How can you get a loan on my car illegally own , compared to what they did ! I guess all I can do if the legal system of backwoods Bofunk , Alabama decides to award the creditor is to appeal my truck !

Is the title clean? * No outstanding debt against it says on the top of the title * MedlinePlus MedlinePlus If the title is clean get the truck back . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus If the title is not clean creditors will not get the truck back and your purchase is illigidiment . * However , you can sue your X *

The difficulty is that as someone close to your ex, the law is probably inclined to see the truck transmission to you as a fraudulent conveyance - IE , you and you fake- conspired to sell the truck to avoid creditors . Your chances are probably not really super good unless you can prove that your ex has paid a lot of money and have not gotten any of that from him again . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I'm not a lawyer , though - you really need one for this situation MedlinePlus . MedlinePlus Best wishes and God bless .
