The discovery that Countrywide Financial Corp. recorded phone conversations with borrowers in a controversial mortgage program that included public officials - and that these recordings have been destroyed - has prompted new congressional calls for more information about the program from MedlinePlus . MedlinePlus Rep. Darrell Issa of California , the ranking Republican on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform , is quoting the program remaining records of Countrywide VIP loans . So far , the committee chairman, Rep. Edolphus Towns of New York , has rejected that request. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus http://online.wsj.com/article/SB12540939

We have the most corrupt govt than ever , and since they control everything , I'm sure it will destroy any evidence that might for future claims for failure. I think that's the real reason we are investigating the CIA - to see what they have in these liberals .
