My current options are getting a car on a 0 APR credit card with 0 % APR for the first 2000 then 7 % for the reminder . I am also considering a lease short term car because I do not want to add to my debt . But I can make lease payments until you start working . Let me know what you think and if there are other options MedlinePlus . MedlinePlus thanks

if you have a very good credit established , do not need a job, but if it's low marginal credit orn very good , no matter if you have $ 2,000.00 down . And first, if you do not have a job. Do not waste money on your credit card , then you will have two payments on a car , first try to get something with 0 down if possible , if necessary . just get a box car with 2k if possible , that is how you get in trouble MedlinePlus good luck ! Student loans are not income , that is debt and plan to rent a car is only going to get deeper into the hole . You have to change your attitude towards money otherwise spend the first 10 years after graduation to pay the debt. You'll be forty before having anything but . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus When you find yourself in a hole - . Stop digging MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Get a job , save some money and then buy a car . ( Or. .. if you want to be even more profitable to have a motorbike )

If you have no income , you will have to get a co -signer for the car , maybe you need to get a job first and then think about getting a car

Based on the information you have supplied, I come to the conclusion that you cannot afford to buy a car.

Even assuming you could, you could not afford to run it. Tax, insurance, maintenance, petrol.

Get a bicycle like every other student. You don't need a car at all.
