I have 12,000 in credit card debt . I have 5,500 in a card and some 6,500 in another. The main reason I'm so in debt because I had to live one of my cards in the month after graduating from school and I had to do car repairs and security deposits since. I have a job that pays well (I net around $ 730 a week after taxes, insurance, etc. . ) However , I've only been in this job a little over 4 months and I have a great " job security " by according to the places that have inquired about loans, because I've been at work for less than a year.

My question is , should I consolidate my credit card debt into a loan that is a lower percentage and easier to manage payment? ( One card is at 9.9 % and the other is 0% for a little less than a year , but payments are difficult to handle ) If yes , how I can get this loan , when the only thing of value I have is my car (with a value between 3000 and 4000) ?
