Should I buy a MacBook Air?0mekhi2012-10-04 11:45:47
I currently use a laptop Asus G50V-A1 Intel Core Duo gamer and Windows Vista (taken from a family member compared to last year). In short, I hate it. It's big, slow, heats up very quickly ..... basically the opposite of what I need for my lifestyle. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I'm debating between getting a netbook PC (HP Pavilion mini or maybe), or MacBook Air. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I never had a Mac, but I have never been so impressed with the PC, to begin with, so I must admit, I'm curious if the Mac would be a better fit. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus A little history: I am a college student (with classes both online and on campus), who also works in the night shift. So I was traveling with my laptop about 3-5 days a week (not suitable with my 15 "screen, 7 lbs. Laptop gamer). MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I can use my laptop primarily for web browsing (in multiple tabs / windows, including access to online classes), music (via iTunes and iPod), writing documents and creating PowerPoint presentations, upload / share photos and movies on Netflix / Hulu shows. Literally, that's all. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I do not play, I did not Photoshop, do not really do anything fancy. So it's very frustrating because I have no laptop to adequately perform more mundane tasks! I have to admit, was purchased in 2008. So now is the most likely time for a new computer anyway. However, Asus has never been ideal for my lifestyle (but unfortunately, is on loan and beggars can not be choosers). Seriously, I do not even necessarily need a DVD / CD-ROM. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Apart incredibly cumbersome weight and size (and the fact that you can not charge the battery and gets very hot immediately after being started), trying to find adequate security for an old PC is becoming quite the headache (Norton, McAfee, AVG ..... all slow performance, and really rather not spend $ 30 + / month antivirus security). I read that the Mac (at least for now) are significantly better at preventing the virus (I understand that this is mainly because most viruses are designed for PCs, Macs so naturally not experience problems such as frequency, but without into account, still believe that a professional on the PC). MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Basically, I'm so sick of the bad luck I've had with PCs I would consider trying a more expensive Mac (more specifically, the MacBook Air, as it is supposed to be fit to travel). It's a little overwhelming trying to figure out exactly what kind of computer I'm even looking. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus This is not a universal "Mac vs. PC" question. My question is what Mac suit my specific lifestyle needs more than a netbook PC / laptop, or is there a better option out there cheaper PC? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone reclaimed bank charges from Barclays?2׷PsYcHo-PuNk 2012-09-17 09:14:03
If so , please share your story ! How long did it take? Do you close your account ? V 'm worried about it because I have an overdraft and a loan with them and have heard that legally could close my account and demand a full refund ( which would be impossible ) .
