First time buyer: How hard to get a loan now?3pheasant2012-11-02 08:10:02
My boyfriend and I planned on buying a foreclosed home , once he moved to Atlanta in early 09 '. Now, with the consequences of all this financial business, we wonder how hard it would be for us to get a loan for a house (50k or less). We both have student loans (both 12k, my payments will begin in December) , both of our cars are paid, no credit card debt , and we have a stable job history . However, he has some old scores still to when his mom put the bills and other items in your name. My credit is not as well , because I just graduated 5 months ago and I have a lot of history . We would really like to buy a foreclosed home on the market ( and some of them are really great steals !) . Any ideas on what we will face and what we do?
Do ensigns/2nd lt have a hard time after commisioning?0Kadesha2012-09-27 23:36:03
I'm talking about those in the ROTC without a scholarship . Do you have difficulty paying student loans that make only $ 33,000 or so a year. And still pay the regular needs and a decent car .
Is anyone else having a hard time finding a career?0Javay2012-10-05 15:52:26
I am a 23 year old graduate of Penn State . I've been out of school for two years. I've had four jobs , none of which were in my chosen field . I look online and in the newspaper every day for a new job , better paid , but I have almost given up. Or I have not got the right degree , I have no work experience, or the pay is very low and I 'm overqualified . I have to pay a lot of bills , incuding student loans. I feel I've lost tens of thousands of dollars on an education that I got nothing . I live in Pittsburgh , where the labor market is not very good to begin with. Is there anyone else who is struggling to find a decent job because no one will give them a chance? Any advice for someone trying very hard but not getting anywhere ? How did you get the job you have on your feet? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Is my situation really that bad to have a hard time finding a girlfriend?7Aimme J. Keller2012-09-13 21:25:02
Ok now my life has been hell in the last few years and I need your help please. I have 28 years and I've had a girlfriend in the past five years to date, and that was almost seven years ago. For now, literally, have an impossible time finding someone to give me a chance. Here's a rough idea of my situation. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus In short ... 3 years ago I had to get to $ 25,000 in medical bills. I did not do enough to really cover so I took out another loan to help pay the difference. The only reason I took out another loan because my company was the time kept promising large increases. My boss was fired a little later, but then it sucked for me, because by then we had a huge debt. I have no college degree and self study to get into the position I was in. It also does not help that my parents helped me because I lived with them most of my life and gave 1000 a month for rent. My three older brothers got into huge problems and my parents took out every dime they had to pay for his expenses, and promised to help financially. It turns out that my parents can not help me because they themselves dug deeper than I was. Good front zipper 4 years and I owe huge and I take about three years for me to get back on track, but I trust my plan I will dig. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Now I moved a year ago and lived on my own, but recently moved back in with my parents because I live on my own really sucked. I never had anyone else and never got any dates. So I moved back home and am paying the rent, but not as much as before. My situation sucks, and the last 5-6 dates I've been on, never got beyond the first date because just heard my situation, or at least part of it, and run. I have really wanted to find a girlfriend, but it just seems like the worst time. I've been waiting for seven years, and it will be years before it gets better and I do not want to waste time. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Any advice for me? I have tried online dating sites extensively during the year and had no luck. He even tried to meet people in public, and that's even worse. I do not drink alcohol and I love to be with him, so I rarely go to bars. Everyone who really knows me, understands my situation and I think we should not let anyone go out with me, but I beg to differ. Maybe it's all in my head? Not. When I meet a girl, just want to tell you everything because I like to try to hide things. But that is difficult because when I mention, for example, live at home with my parents, I almost have to explain a little of everything, because unless you know the whole picture, just does not sound right.

I went to school online (Pinnacle Career Institute Online) and received my diploma. I was going to get certified, but certification would receive was ignored by employers, so it never did. That was in 2008, fast forward to 2010. Still I have school loans, have not had a job for over a month (of pregnancy) and trying to use my "credentials", no employer wants. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I have offered to finish my diploma to enroll in medical coding and billing school Associate Degree. There is even such a thing????
