Do I pack his things since he left last week?0Yumi2012-10-13 08:35:52
My boyfriend , who is my ex husband and I have been together six years but divorced a year . We've only been together 10 months ago and went out the night before Valentine's Day . He broke up with me on the phone and he is 31 years old! Anyway he came for his clothes that night and kiss the girl goodbye , he asked me if I needed anything and grabbed a handful of bills that said hed pay . I have a job , I've been at home doing online classes to finish my degree to be a kindergarten teacher . I have some money from student loans for living expenses , but I am staying in our apartment and I had to move many times as a child after our divorce and he is not helping . Therefore, the text asked if he needed anything from the apartment , said the rest of his stuff . I said well and let me know when. That's been a week , I want his clothes and things past , but do not want to throw them out as I have to be nice this time if I want to help you pay the bills until I find , but do not want to be under their thumb. So , do I have your stuff safe and leave them out , or just leave them as they are and to come back and get it himself?

Should I give up on my dreams? Is it time to pack up and get serious? ?0dolly2012-09-23 01:44:03
I wanted to work in the film industry since she was little. I love movies, and I loved escaping into them like a child with a semi-hard childhood. I grew up in New Zealand, but have ended up here in Los Angeles - and yes, I work in the film industry. What I want is to be a writer, but it is a long and winding road. I'm working on it. I've been writing all I can, and never lose hope. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I work for a production company here in LA, and I like the people I work with (mostly), but despite that I am a fairly integral part of the office, I see my boss gives me the money real position in the short term. And for that matter, I'm not sure I want to be a producer / director in Hollywood. He's so full of BS and I'm a networker terrible. I still want to be a writer, and I do not write yet. They gave me a kind of symbolic title change and additional responsibilities lately, but that was only because they realized it was actually going to leave if I did nothing. I like. I know how to keep my mouth shut and do my job. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I have a metric ton of student loans **** consuming most of my salary. I can earn around $ 45k per year plus overtime. But since the WGA strike really have not had much extra time to win. $ 750/mth will my student loans. $ 610 will rent. I have $ 4k in credit card debt that I try to pay (i put $ 600/mth in that *****) but I always end up having to put **** on it (like my car (87 honda civic) needed new brakes and a lot of things and it was $ 450) and what ever I manage to get very far. Besides, I'm not perfect and sometimes put things on the card that really is not necessary ... but never great things. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Anyway. I've been in Los Angeles for three years. Two years in this job, and is basically going nowhere. Who knows if I'll ever have the career I want. I am a woman, about 30 (just over a year away), in a youth / city seems obsessed, and I will not be answering the phone when someone else rolls along on his birthday. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I just broke up with my boyfriend live and I have to find a new place to live, and my loans, they have no savings to pay a security deposit on a new place. I'll have to end up living in my car, or sleeping on the job providing no one notices. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus So my question is: Is it time to pack up and go home right? I know I can write from anywhere anyway, but conventional wisdom says that if you want to succeed in the film business, you have to live in Los Angeles. Or should I forget the dream? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I have British citizenship and could go live with my father (I did not grow up with him) who lives about an hour and a half south of London by train. It could travel (with a 12 month season pass works out to about 14 lbs / day) to London and try to work there - God knows what I'll do, but I hope that something I'm a little more autonomous. London is infinitely more interesting to me than LA. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I have a B.A. of an American university (not a prestigious one) in Movies. If. I know. I suck. MedlinePlus I have also completed one year of a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University in New Zealand by correspondence. I could finish in two years. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Should I do this, go to the UK? MedlinePlus Will I be making a mistake career wise if I leave LA? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Will I be likely to earn enough to be in a financial position as well or better than I am now? (Note, most of my student loans are in NZ $ now) MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Does it matter? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Am I really about to spend my expiration date when you turn 30? What hope is there for me for a secure future and a family and a real career if I have not fixed it by then? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Need I say **** it all and return to New Zealand and find a good milk producer in the Bay of Plenty to settle down with?

College graduate who has been living with parents since October-Should I just pack my bags and move to a city?1mechelle2012-10-20 08:16:02
I graduated from college almost a year ago now ( spring 2009) , and have had no luck landing any jobs in my field . I came home with my parents in October and have been holding two jobs in retail since. My hometown is very rural and has a lot of international business opportunities (which is what I studied ) . I'm going crazy .. there is nothing to do here , and I feel like I'm wasting time that should be networked . My parents will not let me out until I have a job full time, but I'm thinking about getting up and moving somewhere. I feel like I'm in a city that would help my job prospects instead of applying in a small town hundreds of miles away . If I moved somewhere, I could at least work in customer service job opportunity until full time appears . I feel like it's just a waste to be here at 22, when it should be starting a life. I know I will not get a job sitting here . I have accepted a few graduate programs outside the state beginning in the fall , my parents see it as a waste of time , but I know it will open many doors . What should I do ? Should I choose a place and stay there ? Even applying for jobs through my computer in a village bumpkin while working in retail ? Go to graduate school and get loans ? Ugh , it's so frustrating , and I'm tired of living with my parents and being in the middle of nowhere .
Get about $700 in a week and a half?2randi jo2012-09-16 01:16:03
Well , here 's the situation. I know someone who needs about $ 700 in a week and a half to pay for car insurance . This person has no credit history for a loan is not feasible . Everyone knows that the person has said no to lend money or co - sign a loan. I was reading about cash advances from credit cards and I was wondering if getting a credit card and get a cash advance is a feasible idea . Obviously it would be in debt temporarily . Other details include the person is a college student working part-time . The other idea that seems feasible is one of those " no credit check auto loan " type of thing. The problem with them is how trustworthy they are. If anyone has any kind of recommendations short of winning the lottery , would be greatly appreciated . And let's say there is more importance to the issue than just having the bill paid . Thanks in advance !

I recently bought a car from a Ford dealer . and I signed a contract with them for a rate of 5.9 % and I get a phone call a week later saying that they can not ensure that the loan for that, but they can do it by 6.9 % . It is not against the law even after signing the contract with 5.9 % about the same ?

Commuting once a week, but being away from family?0Shakespear2012-10-05 03:48:19
Currently working in a very specialized industry and am in the beginning of my career working my way . I worked hard to get where I am and I feel very confident that if I stay in the workplace today I will be able to make a great reward ( help you pay a lot of student loans ) and many other benefits (I am a teacher in a specialized industry - summer and winter holidays off) . There are few institutions in my state offering a specialization in the industry would teach in. Without showing much less than they do today and no doubt would have to work more (trust me - I'm not lazy - I'm a busy body and enjoy the summers of research or work in my field ) . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus The issue is that my longtime boyfriend just got a great job in another community . He is also a specialized career and has no chance of getting a good job in the city working in ( or anywhere near it) . So, I'm thinking of moving to where it is - 3.5 hours away - and only shifts once a week here and back. I know that my department would give me a flexible schedule that I had taught Sunday - Thursday, to work from home on Fridays and Mondays . I have a place here , to be here today - Wed . nights . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus The question - is completely unrealistic ? The boyfriend wants me to be near him (understandable ) , but there are no jobs in my field nearby. I'd have to take a secondary school work , which would reduce the salary , the fall of my free time , and I would have to get my teaching certification . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Any idea ?
