so I took out a cash advance. I have no money to pay for it . Today I called the loan place and they said they only sent it to collections .... MedlinePlus
How long do I have through collections money back before the loan will probably take legal action instead ?

Did you ask them about a payment plan ? Most cash instead will allow an extension and pay only until you can pay the loan in full
