I've had my car for almost 5 1/2 years. It almost paid off . I have made all payments on time or early. So I sent my last payment the day before it was due, and are trying to charge a $ 40 late fee . You think you can call them and convince them to give it up because I am a good customer ? I have only like 5 payments left ! They cashed my check at the same time they always do.

The date of his message was marked prior to the expiration date , this should negate any late fee , but the first step and it is best to go and talk to them politely and calmly , I'm sure , given his history payment , they will work with you .

should be shaken for a good deal, but does not mean they will. if they do , the bank wants and you should not deal with them again.

I would call them , talk to them very good about the situation and ask them to waive the fee , as it is the first time I charged for late payment. In my experience with my credit card , the bank did waive the fee as a courtesy . So worth a try ! Good Luck !
