I went to military training for 3 months without access to a phone or internet. Before I set up automatic bill payment on my car loan . This automatic payment was going perfectly for 5 months before I left . Suddenly , I get back to training, and I heard that I pay my loan because the automatic payments stopped , and hit me on my credit report . Is there anything I can do to get it removed from your credit report?

It was the reason why they are not paid due to insufficient funds in the account? What is the excuse of banks stopped payments ? Contact the three bureaus ( Experian Equifax and TransUnion ) to ask what cna do to change it . Contact the auto loan company and explain your situation ( mention that you are in the army also sometimes there are special advantages when ) Working with both places to get it resolved . Probably cost you some time on the phone . You can also do what is called a consumer statement . Type what has happend in short, quick to point detail . Send it to the 3 credit bureaus . Tell them you want to put in your credit report . Every time someone pulls your credit report will indicate that the statement at the bottom . Hopefully this willl help

It all depends on why automatic payments were stopped . Is it because there were insufficient funds in the account or negligence by the bank? You need to get in touch with your bank and find out what exactly happened . MedlinePlus

Where to set automatic payments ? Through its online banking BillPay ? Or Thurs site car loan ? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I suspect it was the car loan site . If so , send a letter explaining the problem and requesting that it remove the derogatory item . I guess I have been responsible for the arrears. You may have a fight on their hands . Check with the JAG office some help . There may be something in the Soldier Sailor Relief Act ( or whatever the name) that will work in your favor.
